PATIENT ADHERENCE
AI-driven technology could help mitigate the high cost of prescription drugs by helping address complex, ongoing challenges with medication adherence. Comprehensive medication reviews are not enough to guarantee adherence. A continuous, holistic patient engagement can dramatically impact adherence gap closure while improving patient experience. Our research consists of combining AI tools with relationship-oriented engagements in an effort to maintain patient adherence and improve patient quality of life.
PILL RECOGNITION TECHNOLOGY
Pill recognition plays an important role in medication adherence. Identification and safe self-administration of medication would reduce healthcare costs by increasing patient self-reliance on their medication therapy management, reducing error rates, and improving patient outcomes. At PilAi we are in the process of creating pill recognition software systems that the patient and provider could safely and effectively use at their respective care settings.
